Well, there are now currently two states that welcome same sex marriages. One of them being California at least for the moment, as a stay is being requested until the upcoming elections. Although California Governor Schwarzenegger doesn't directly/openly support gay marriage for the most part, he seems to hope the recent ruling will bring growth to the state.
